Which AI video model holds an art style
A named style is easy to hit in one frame and hard to hold for five seconds. We asked 30 models for a woodblock print of a lighthouse in a storm and watched whether the waves stayed printed. The grid includes the September 18, October 19, October 22 and October 23 additions; each model page dates its own run.

What the side-by-side shows
Veo 3.1 stays a woodblock print from first frame to last, with rain lines and flat colour. MiniMax H3 and Veo 3.1 Lite hold the style with lively waves. Wan 3.0 and Wan 2.7 both keep the ink look. Kling 3.0 Pro chose a bold graphic version that reads more as a screen print, which is a defensible reading. Hailuo 2.3 washed out to a pale illustration, Seedance 2.5 kept the style but hardly moved, and Gemini Omni Flash put a lightning bolt in halfway through and took it out again. FLUX 3 Max, added on October 19, keeps a flat printed look as a big wave breaks beside a red and white lighthouse. Wan 3.0 Prime, added on 22 October, is the truest print of that batch, flat colour and paper texture with the wave breaking over the cliff; Gemini Omni Flash 1.1 added wood grain and lightning again, both LTX 2.5 tiers turned the sea into paper cut-outs, and Kandinsky 6.0 Pro holds a flat print under a calm sky. Kling 4.0, added on 23 October, draws a flat-colour storm with curling waves and a turning lighthouse beam, but no wood grain, and cuts from the wide shot to a close-up of the rocks halfway through.

- 4.Wan 3.0 ink lines and flat colour held through a real storm.
- 5.Wan 3.0 Prime flat colour, paper texture and rain lines, the wave breaking over the cliff.

Frequently asked questions
Which AI video generator is best for anime or illustrated styles?
On a woodblock print, Veo 3.1, MiniMax H3, Veo 3.1 Lite and Wan 3.0 held the style across the clip. The usual failure is drift toward photoreal or a washed-out look, which Hailuo 2.3 showed.
